If you read my blog regularly, you know that I am a huge fan of grilling out, especially during the summer. I love the smell of food cooking outside on a hot summer evening! Cooking and clean up is usually super easy too. We recently received two of Schwan's great grilling items for review: Black Angus Steak Burgers and Steakhouse Flat Iron Beef Steaks. We actually received our Schwan's shipment right before the kids and I left for vacation, and Brian was thrilled to have all of this delicious food in the house to eat while we were gone! He quickly became the official reviewer for this post.

Fans of Black Angus beef will love this distinctive juicy, one-third pound burger. Take directly from the freezer and pop on the grill, or in a hot grill pan with a little salt, that's all you’ll need. The extra rich beefy flavor never quits! Irradiated for your safety.

Brian tried the burgers first and was very impressed. He said they were juicy and had a great flavor.

Brian said he was skeptical of these steaks at first, and was VERY surprised at how much he liked them. They were very tender and tasted great!

Schwan's has a great selection of frozen treats, perfect for cooling off with on those hot summer days. With several choices of ice cream, frozen yogurt and even cones, there is something for everyone! We received the Loaded Waffle Cone with Peanut Butter Swirl Ice Cream for review.

This ice cream is loaded with chunks of Fudge Covered Waffle Cone pieces surrounded by thick, rich peanut butter swirls.

I have one word for this ice cream - YUM! I just couldn't let Brian review this one by himself, so the kids and I helped him. Everyone loved it. It was creamy and delicious! And I have to admit, it didn't last long.



Not only are their foods great, Schwan's delivery service is AWESOME! My Nutrisystem frozen meals are actually delivered by Schwan's, and our delivery guy is great. Since my box does not contain any ice packs, he will not leave it unless I am home. This particular shipment we were sent for review was sent in a Styrofoam cooler filled with dry ice. It was left on my front porch for most of the day, and it was all still 100% frozen when I got home! I have had many food items delivered that are packed with a small ice pack or two, and after they sit out in the Florida heat all day, they spoil and we can't even eat them. I am 100% satisfied with Schwan's delivery service!
