I have been feeling so good about myself lately, and I owe it all to Nutrisystem! People are really starting to comment on my weight loss, and I have to admit, I'm kind of enjoying all of the attention. It's always nice to have people pay attention to you for a GOOD reason.
I told you that I recently stepped out of my comfort zone and purchased some skirts and dresses. Well last Monday I actually wore one of them to work.
My friends and co-workers were shocked! First, because I actually wore a skirt, and second, because now that I have clothes that actually fit me, you can really see how much weight I have lost. I received compliments all day, and it made me feel so good.
Last Friday I went to my doctor for my yearly exam and his nurse didn't even recognize me at first. Now, this is someone that I spent twice a week with during the last few months of my pregnancies and we got to be pretty close. When I first came back she was just gushing about how great I looked and then pulled up my picture that they had on their computer system. OH.MY.GOD. I think the picture must have been taken during the end of my pregnancy with Rylie. Even so, I couldn't believe how big I was. My face was very fat in the picture, and it was just horrible. Once my doctor came in, he also said he didn't even recognize me when I walked by. He congratulated me several times on my weight loss and also said I looked great. It really made me feel awesome.
My best friend, who is also on Nutrisystem and has lost like 10 pounds, came to visit this weekend. We decided before she came that we would eat our Nutrisystem meals for dinner Saturday night, but then we would go to one of our favorite restaurants for breakfast Sunday morning, because it is kind of a tradition we have. She made some spaghetti squash to go with our cheese and spinach ravioli, and I now have a new vegetable! If you have never had spaghetti squash, once it is baked, you shred it with a fork and it comes out looking like spaghetti. We used the leftover sauce from our entrees and poured it over the squash and it was delicious!
We didn't make it to Mimi's for breakfast because Rylie wanted to go swimming, so we had our Nutrisystem breakfast entrees. We did go for lunch, though, and I am proud to say that I did pretty well. I decided to fore go my usual Monterey Omelet, because I knew I would eat way too much, including the huge muffin that goes with it. They had a section on their menu for meals with smaller portions, so we both ordered a turkey wrap with a cup of soup, and we declined the fries that came with it. The wraps were huge (so much for the smaller portions) so we both only ate half. I could have easily eaten the other half, though, because it was so yummy. I was proud of myself.
We didn't mind eating our Nutrisystem meals while she was here, because they are delicious! Some of my favorites from this past week were Scrambled Eggs with Vegetables for breakfast, Fettuccine Alfredo for lunch, Roast Turkey Medallions for dinner and NutriChocolates for dessert.
I'm sorry this post is so long, but I just have so many great things to say about Nutrisystem! I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity to try out the Nutrisystem program. I know it is really working for me!
Now for my weekly weigh in. Here is something else that makes me smile. I am finally in the 130s! WOO HOO! I stepped on the scale this afternoon and was so excited to see 139.6. I am so close to my pre-pregnancy weight of 137!

You look wonderful. A very professional and spring/summery look for the office.
I have to build my blog so I can get invited to an opportunity like this. I would love to try a successful program but have to admit there is no money for it right now.
