Welcome to Tell Us Something Good! I'm so glad you're here. Every Tuesday, my friend Andrea from Angelica's Awesome Adventures and I will be sharing something good with you. We hope that you will share something good with us too. So grab the button at the top, tell us something good on your blog, and link up your post at the linky on the bottom.
My "something good" for today is all about
C O L O R S
Bryce is learning his colors! This is a recent development and I'm so excited about it! This is the last time I get to experience any "firsts", and all of Bryce's firsts are just as exciting as Rylie's were.
You might notice that you only see orange and yellow up there. Well that is because those are the two that Bryce knows right now. He can pick out orange and yellow easily. Just ask him when he is eating M&Ms! If you ask him what color something is, as long as it is orange or yellow he will tell you what it is.
Apparently "orange" is a difficult word to say, because Bryce actually pronounces it "oboe". He has been saying "oboe" for a while now, and just recently we noticed that he was saying that when he was pointing to something orange. Rylie used to pronounce it "eechew", so I guess he is a little closer. He can say "yellow" perfectly, though.
I love when my kids learn new things! I always get so excited when they do!
OK, now it's your turn. Tell us something good...

Kids are little sponges and I love when my children learn something new.
Thank you for this link-up today. I REALLY needed it to get my mind focused on something positive.
Isn't it neat watching kids learn? I sort of miss seeing those "ah-ha" moments with my girls. Now that they are both in school it kind of all clicks there. I still get to see some of it, but I loved the age when they were home and there was so much of the world to explore. Enjoy this time!
I hope you have a great week!
Oh how sweet! I love how little ones say yellow! It is always a joy when they begin to learn their colors!
Thanks for the chance to link up.
The little Bryce...what a smart boy!! It is awesome that he is learning his colors already. I have to say, I don't think Anthony knows any yet. I guess I need to get working on that!! He can say "I punch you out"...LOL!
Orange was the last color my daughter could say. For a long while, she wouldn't say anything, but would correctly point to it. Then it became "ownge" and finally orange. The hardest for her have actually been brown and black because she doesn't often color with them.

love that stage. All my kids did something funny with their colors. my youngest would insist every color was pink for a long time even though he knew all of them and would pick the right color if you asked him to find a color but if you held something and asked what color it was, he's ALWAYS say pink and then crack up!!
This is awesome. Hooray for Bryce! I'm with Jen, though...Chloe only gets White right. I'm starting to think that maybe she is color blind. Although this morning she did point out a pink jelly bean, so I'm holding out hope for her...
they're so fun at that age! a new discovery every day!
i agree with your take on the word 'orange'. looking back, i think all my kids had problems with it long after they knew all their colors. *shrugs* wonder why?
i posted my something good...it happened last tuesday!
Oboe! That is the CUTEST!!!!! They're very similar colors, so it's pretty cool that he can discern them.
Awww, that is SO cute! :)
