Welcome to another fun Saturday Playdate! Today we're playing with Katherine from An Irish-Italian Blessing! Katherine is so super sweet and I'm so glad to have her as a reader and faithful commenter on my blog. It is people like her that make all of this really worth it to me. Katherine's blog is about a little bit of everything, which as you all know, is my favorite kind of blog. You never know what you will find when you visit. The main subject, though, is her adorable little girl Kaylin. I always smile when I see her beautiful eyes and her chubby cheeks at the top of the blog!
When you're done here, please check out An Irish-Italian Blessing and say hi to Katherine. Let her know you stopped by from the Playdate.
A HUGE Thank you to LeeAnn for having me over for her Saturday Playdate! The Life of Rylie...and Bryce too is one of my favorite blogs, LeeAnn is one of my big blogger idols. I’m truly grateful for being able to play here today!
My name is Katherine, author of An Irish Italian Blessing. It’s funny, when it comes to writing posts for my blog, I can always find plenty to write about but when it comes to writing about me, I somewhat draw a blank. So, let’s give it a shot today and hope I don’t crash and burn!
I’ve been married for almost 5 years to my incredibly awesome, super husband who constantly makes me love him more and more every day. We decided to share our love with the first addition to our family, our English Bulldog Dozer. It may sound weird but Dozer really made us feel like we knew what it was like to be parents, waking up in the middle of the night, potty training, and just being responsible for another being. Since we thought we were now professionals in the parenting department we expanded our family and in July 2009, we officially became a family when our daughter Kaylin was born.
I'm blessed with the ability to be a Stay at home Mommy to my beautiful little blessing, a now 22 month old precious little girl. She's such a doll and really keeps me on my toes! I'm also a preggosaurus (again), due with our first little man, Braden, in July. And as if I wasn't busy or tired enough, I'm currently a student trying to complete my Bachelors in Counseling Psychology. I've maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my entire college career and am determined to graduate with honors. Oh and in my spare time I LOVE to blog, pretend to sew and be crafty, and find new activities to enjoy with my little girl.

The name of my blog "An Irish Italian Blessing" is simple really, He's Irish, I'm Italian, and we’re so blessed with Kaylin, Dozer, and little man on his way. I started the blog to document my pregnancy progress in 09. Then of course, I had to blog about my daughter. Now, I pretty much blog about everything. I blog about things we do, things I'd like to do, things that make me laugh, things that annoy me, and things I love. I blog about crafts or fun festive snacks (I LOVE Holidays) I make. I blog about my pregnancy progress and Kaylin's progress. So, basically, I blog about....everything. I try to keep a positive attitude and am extremely sarcastic. I like to find ways to laugh about most everything and that’s the stance I take with my blog.
I love being a Mommy Blogger and love being able to read other mom’s stories and relate to other moms. It’s always nice to know you’re not alone in this Mommy world. I’m so amazed and blessed at the support I receive from random strangers who I now consider my bloggy friends. I never knew how much the blogging world had to offer until I became a part of it. I hope you get a chance to check out my blog and say hi! I love new bloggy friends!
Thanks for stopping by for our Playdate! I hope you had fun! If you would like to come over for a Playdate, let me know in a comment or an email.

I love this play date idea. I'm visiting from Katherin's blog. I agree with her on how amazing and supportive the bloggy world is. It's great finding people all over the world that you have things in common with.
LeeAnn thank you so so much for your super kind words! I'm especially thankful for letting me play today! I was so excited to see the post this morning :) Happy Saturday, YOU ROCK!!!!
I'm also stopping by from Katherine's blog. I am a big fan of her blog!
I have loved getting to relate to other moms through blogging too.
I cannot believe you've had a 4.0 through college while being a mom. That's awesome! I only had a 4.0 through one semester of my entire college experience and that wore me out!
Katherine... you are just pretty AND smart AND have a cute-as-a-button kid! You've got it ALL going on!!!
Smart to get her in on this hop, LeeAnn :)
