Tomorrow is the day! The day that I start on the road to a healthier way of eating, and start finally getting rid of the "baby weight". I'm so excited to begin my journey with Nutrisystem!
I received all of my food last week, the 18 days of pantry items, and 10 days of frozen food. It all looks so good! The best part? I get dessert every day! There aren't many diets out there that allow you to have dessert. I have to add fruits, vegetables, protein and dairy to my Nutrisystem meals, so I stocked up on apples, bananas, green beans, squash, cottage cheese and milk. The daily food diary will tell me what to eat and when, so I know exactly what I'm supposed to eat at each meal.
I'm really looking forward to this program. I'm looking forward to the convenience that the Nutrisystem plan will offer. I will portion out my extras the night before, and each morning, I will choose my meals for the day. It doesn't get much easier than that!
So here I go. Wish me luck. My weight this last week has been around 148 most days, so we'll just go with that for my starting weight. My goal is 130, but honestly I will be happy first if I can just get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 137. That will be my first mini-goal. If you want to follow my progress (and I hope you will), stop back by each Sunday evening and I'll let you know how I'm doing.
