We got really lucky with Rylie when it came to potty training. She was completely potty trained just a few months after she turned two, even at night! I think part of the reason she was potty trained so quickly is because most of the time, she was using the little potties at daycare. Those potties are very low to the ground, so the kids feel comfortable using them, which I believe makes potty training easier.
The only way for us to get a potty that was low to the ground at home was to use one of the little training potties. Um, no thanks. There was no way I was going to rinse that thing out every time Rylie had to go. Ewwwwww. So Rylie had to learn how to use the big potty. We bought stools for all of the bathrooms at our house and she would just climb up and hang on. It certainly wasn't the best scenario. She is constantly touching the toilet seat, and one time she was so unstable just hanging there that she actually fell in.
I think Bryce will have an easier time learning how to go potty at home, thanks to The Little Looster! The Little Looster is a one-of-a-kind stool that is specially made to wrap around the base of your toilet. It is large enough for your little one to use for extra stability and hands free comfort on the potty, but small enough to be unobtrusive for the adults in your household.
What a fantastic idea for a potty stool! First off, I am happy that I no longer have to move a stool around when I have to go to the bathroom. The rectangular stools that we have in the bathrooms stick out too far from the toilet, so they have to be moved if an adult needs to use it. The Little Looster fits right around the base of the toilet, and still leaves plenty of room for us adults to use the bathroom without having to move the stool.
Rylie is a huge fan too! She can easily get on the toilet now without having to hang on to it for stability. The Little Looster allows her to step up from the sides or the front, at any angle, and easily sit down without having to stabilize herself. And since her legs aren't dangling, she is comfortable and stable while on the potty. She can even lean over to get the toilet paper without having to worry about falling off.
Our pediatrician actually recommended that Rylie always have a stool under her when going potty, so that she doesn't dangle her legs. She has had problems with constipation, and when kids dangle their legs, they have to use their muscles to support themselves on the potty and then aren't able to use those muscles to go to the bathroom properly. The Little Looster gives her the support she needs for those times when she may have to try a little harder to go.
Bryce is getting close to potty training age, and I am so glad we will have The Little Looster on hand when we begin that process. I have heard that boys are harder to train than girls, so we need all the help we can get! The Little Looster will be used in our house for many years to come. In fact, I need to get at least one more to put in the other bathroom that the kids use. We love it!
The Little Looster can be purchased for $34.99 directly from their website, or from many retail partners.

That is a great idea i wish I was in the US:(
I want to win so bad! My biggest training fiasco? My middle daughter was two, and my husband started training her. We thought we'd be nice parents and spring the extra money for the potty seat that played music when you went potty. The first time she used it and the music started playing, she jumped up, started screaming and peeing everywhere. She refused to use it after that.

My little one woke me up for the first time last night to go potty (we haven't even attempted overnight training) to help her go at 1:30AM. This sure would help her go by herself in the middle of the night!

The biggest potty training fiasco I have had to endure happened last week. I get the joys of potty training my step daughter (she won't listen to her mother or her father). Abby is 3 and is really small for her age. When she sits on the big girl potty, she practically falls right in. She won't use it unless I hold onto.
Last week, she was sitting on the potty (I was holding on her) and a bug flew on her nose causing her to scream, me to get startled and thus slip into the potty.
Abby thought it was hilarious that she jumped off the big girl potty while I was elbow deep in it. The little Looster would be very beneficial in our house!!
**If I am the lucky one to win, email me at snunnrob@yahoo.com.
Potty training has been the easiest thing for my little one and I am so thankful for that. The looster would be great because it seems so much safer than the current step stool that we have that can slide.

This would help my lil ones by giving them the ability to sit comfortably & securely. If they have that, they can concentrate & accomplish the task at hand.

Well my girl does have issues w/constipation and I think this would help her greatly as it provides support for her legs since her feet still don't touch the floor when she's on the toilet, haha.

My worst potty training nightmare happened at Target when I was getting my twins pictures taken. My oldest said she pooped her pants right was we were leaving. I'll spare you too many details, but she had poop running down her legs, into her shoes and I left the diaper bag in the car which is where I made this discovery. She went home without any pants or panties and my car smelled like poop for two days just from having her pants and shoes in the car on the ride home. UGH!

my oldest has been a nightmare to potty train. he refuses to believe that you can't poop standing up like he pees, and has demonstrated it on numerous occasions.

My little one is only 3 months old so no diasters yet. This will be a big help for potty training- avoiding disasters.
would love they don't have to climb on the toliet- its a challenge

my 3 year old has been potty trained since he was 18 months old, but he's still too little to get up onto the toilet on his own. the little looster would give him independence in the bathroom at least.

My nephew will soon begin potty training, and this would be such a great help to my sister/brother-in-law!

I completely relate to tripping over the stool to get to the bathroom.
With that being said our most recent potty disaster was when my little girl did not tell anyone she had to go to the bathroom and then announced that there was poop on the floor. Yes, she pooped her pants and bits were falling out of her pants onto our carpet.
My little boy is probably 6 months away from potty training but I bet that little looster will help my toes feel better.

This would help because it's bigger. It adds more security. My little one is nervous and wobbly on his small step stool. What a great item!

My middle child would go into a room, take off his diaper, and go stinky on the floor. Sometimes on clothes and other odd things. He was quick too...so I learned to be wary any time he went to his room to play.

My son likes to stand when he pees. That doesn't work so well over a potty chair. This would give him the right heigth to pee the way he wants too.
