You Did What?!?!?!

I have a feeling that is going to be something I say a lot through the course of raising two kids. But I didn't think I would be saying it already.

Rylie has a little "boyfriend" named Logan. Logan and his family live a few houses down from us, and Rylie and Logan have been going to daycare together since Rylie was 8 weeks old. They moved to the new daycare shortly before we did, so they are still together. They have been attached to each other as long as I can remember.

When Logan first started talking, he would go home in the evenings and say to his mom "Rylie pretty", just out of the blue. They are always giving each other hugs, and one day at school the teachers caught Logan cupping the sides of Rylie's face and trying to give her a "real" kiss. Too much!

So a week or so ago we were eating dinner and talking with Rylie about her day. She said "Logan and I got married!" Heh? You got what? I have no idea if she even knew what "married" meant. A few days later Logan and his mom were walking down the street and I was like "oooh I gotta tell you something" and she said she had something to tell me too. Turns out Logan told her they got married too. In fact, Logan even told her details about how they were at the hotel and had flowers and everything.

Those two are so cute to watch together. You can tell that they truly like each other. They look at each other with these dreamy eyes too. It is so funny. Do you think it is too soon to go ahead and put those bars on Rylie's windows?

Well, Rylie has good taste because it is cute..LOL! I think it is too precious that they are 'getting married.' The funny thing is, I think we don't realize just how much kids pick up. And although they might not understand the true meaning, it means something to them. Christopher just told me the other day he is taking a girlfriend on a 'date' to the park..LOL!

haha my little guy has a girlfriend too. But we haven't seen her in a while due to winter sicknesses, so the other day he "built a Sienna"!! Kids and their little relationships are so cute ;)

I'm a new follower from the blog hop! I can't wait to read more of your posts.

Too cute - in 20 years or so you could be telling this story at their rehearsal dinner or something! :)
