Stop Over POOPulation! Bags on Board {Review & Giveaway}

Did you know that the bacteria found in pet waste poses health risks to you and the community? I never really thought about it, but the stuff that comes out of your adorable dog isn't quite as cute, and it can even contaminate the water supply. Hopefully you are one of the responsible pet owners that picks up after your dog. I know I am. My husband even cleans up our own yard regularly.

With Bags on Board, you can be both a responsible and fashionable pet owner. Bags on Board are refillable dispensers that attach to any leash. The dispensers contain leak proof bags that allow you to quickly and safely dispose of your dog's waste.

Picking up poop has never looked so good! The Bags on Board refillable dispensers come in a variety of sizes and colors.

You can even design your own dispenser! I was sent one of the Design Your Own Dispenser kits for review.

The kit came with a dispenser, 15 bags and 2 printable "skins".

It was so easy to create our dispenser! The website is very user friendly. You first choose a background image. We decided to upload my blog background as a picture and use that instead. Then you can upload pictures to add to your dispenser. Of course I wanted my sweet Chloe's face on mine.

You can also add clip art and text. We tried some sunglasses on Chloe but decided we wanted to see her eyes, and we added her name. Check out our finished product!

I will say that the printing wasn't all that easy. We had a hard time getting it lined up. The problem could have been with our printer, though, because we had to pretty much stick our hand way up into it just to put the skin in. We never did get it perfect, but you can't tell. They send you a regular piece of paper to use to practice, and if you have a copier, I would suggest making multiple copies so you can keep practicing if it doesn't line up perfectly the first time.

We applied the skin to the dispenser, and attached it to Chloe's leash. I love it! Now when we take Chloe for a walk, we have our poop bags right there on the leash.

We had a lot of fun creating our dispenser and I highly recommend this product!

Bags on Board also makes retractable leashes, which we also received. The leash comes with a built in dispenser, and two extra rolls of bags.

Unfortunately the small leashes that we received are for dogs up to 45 pounds, so we couldn't try it out with Chloe. However, my mom has two small dogs that she walks all the time, so she was excited to try out the leashes for me.

She really likes the leashes and will probably never go back to a regular leash again! This gives her dogs a little more freedom, and she can easily stop them from going too far with just a push of a button. She has her clean up bags attached to the leashes, so they will always be available when she needs one.
