Spring Is Here! Are You Ready For Outdoor Entertaining?

Spring is here! March 20th was the official start to spring, and in sunny Florida you can definitely tell it is here. The weather has been gorgeous, and if I could live outside, I would. Unfortunately, our patio isn't in the best shape. Our patio furniture has stood up to many rainy seasons, and even some hurricanes, and it is definitely in need of replacing.

Lucky for me, outdoor furniture has arrived at Pier 1 Imports! I have been browsing through all of the beautiful outdoor furniture that Pier 1 offers, while dreaming about what I would like to do to my patio this spring. We love to entertain outdoors, and I would like nothing more than to have beautiful new furniture for my guests to relax on. The collection I really have my eye on is the Sunset Pier collection. My ideal patio setting would be the settee and two chairs, all around the coffee table.

And check out this awesome Swingasan Chair! The kids would love this, and so would I. Why sit still when you can swing?

Of course we would also need some cushions for these great pieces of furniture. I love to have bright colors outside, so I would probably go with a mixture of the blue and the Whimsical Garden cushions.

And last but not least, we need something to keep our drinks cold. I think this green drink bucket would serve that purpose, and compliment our new decor perfectly!

Wait! There's more! Well, just one more. The iconic Pier 1 Papasan has evolved! There are some great Papasans available this spring. I think this double Papasan would be great for relaxing in on those beautiful spring evenings. I would add a bright pink or green cushion to give just a little more color on our patio.

Well now I want to decorate and throw a Welcome Spring party! Who wants to come?

This furniture would also be great inside the house too! A lot of furniture from Pier 1 is really indoor/outdoor furniture. I imagine a sunroom off the kitchen filled with this beautiful furniture. Perfect for reading, watching the kids play outside, or just enjoying the beauty of nature.
