I have known of Melissa and her blog for a while now, and we have recently become great "bloggy friends". I'm hoping to meet her in person in a week or so when she comes to sunny Florida for the big Disney Social Media Moms Conference. I love meeting my bloggy friends in person!
Melissa's blog is all about her adorable little boy Hayden, her husband Heath, and their adventures together. She always has some great giveaways going on too. She has been blogging for just about a year and has done some really awesome things with her blog!

I was so excited when LeeAnn asked me to be a part of her Saturday Playdate! I'm joining so many other fun blogs!
My name is Melissa and I write the blog Sippy Cup Mom. I started the blog almost one year ago this month as a way to keep track of everything going on in Hayden's life and to share pictures with family.
I never would have imagined it being what it is today! I have had so many opportunities, but most of all I have been able to meet the best people! Most of my "bloggy buddies" are my best friends!
I love being a Mom and I can't imagine life without Hayden (Okay, well maybe sometimes I can. When I'm sleep deprived or trying to do something with a toddler hanging all over me). To me, it's the best thing I have ever done. He is the happiest, silliest, most gorgeous (I know, I know, I'm a little biased) little boy I know.
My love for Hayden is so overwhelming sometimes that it makes it really hard to figure out if I want to have a second child. Before Hayden it was a no-brainer. I wanted 2 or 3 kids. Then I decided on 2. Now I'm not even sure.
I love our little family unit of 3. Heath and Hayden are my 2 best friends!
I know if we were to add another child to our family, that our love would expand. But it's just so hard to imagine having another one and taking attention away from Hayden!
I know many of you have more than one child, how did you decide to add to your family?

Melissa - it's always scary when you think about adding another child to your family dynamic. I was taken by suprise with my 2nd and was so worried about it (my oldest was only 6months old when I found out I was preggo again).
Now, I can't imagine life without the 2 of them! It's been such a joy seeing them together and they both add so much to our lives in their different ways!
If you take the plunge (lol!) you will see that it all works out & there is more, not less, love for everyone!

I know how you feel. I can't fanthom loving another human being as much as I love my daughter. But when the time is right and we were to have another, I'm sure I couldn't fathom loving anyone else as much as I'd love them both. My hubby isn't ready for more kids right now so that kind of makes my decision. My only advice is to talk it over with your hubby and when you're both on the same page - go for it ;).
