Zoom

That is what my weekends do. They zoom on by, and in the blink of an eye, they're over. It seems like we run run run all weekend, every weekend. Which is great, for the most part, because it keeps the kids entertained, but nothing gets done around the house. Oh well. We're having fun, that's for sure! So what if I have to do laundry all week?

I'm crazy exhausted at the moment. I had big blogging plans for tonight, but it is taking my last bit of energy just to get this post up. I have a bunch of pictures from this weekend that I want to share, so I wanted to go ahead and post tonight before I get engrossed in everything else this week.

Saturday morning we headed out to Max & Oli Kid's Playhouse for Payten's 3rd birthday party! Rylie was super excited because she just loves Payten. Every time we see her she always asks if Payten can come sleep at our house, and can't wait to see her again. Max & Oli's is such a cool place! That is the first time we have been there, and we will definitely be going back. It isn't your typical bounce house place. Along with the bounce houses and inflatable slides, they also have a carousel, little kiddie rides like at the carnival, a train and a huge ball pit with a slide that ends in it! Both of the kids had so much fun!

Rylie riding one of the kiddie rides.

Pizza time!
Yeah, Rylie looks like a total nut here. I can't get that kid to smile a normal smile!

The kids had a great time in the big ball pit playground!

Carousel rides!

Davis took Bryce on the train because he wouldn't sit still by himself.
He looks smitten, doesn't he? I think he's in love.

Payten's beautiful birthday cake.

The Birthday Girl! Happy Birthday Payten!

I just have to tell you guys what a great friend Tiffany is to me, and how much she cares about Rylie. She had Payten's cake made at a specialty bakery and the lady could not guarantee that the ingredients were tree nut safe. So Tiffany made special cupcakes for Rylie so she wouldn't feel left out. I am so appreciative that she thought of my little girl. Cake is Rylie's favorite part of birthday parties, and I know she would have been upset if she couldn't have any. That day will come, I'm sure, but it certainly wasn't at Payten's party. Thanks Tiff!

Cake time!

After Bryce got up from his after-party nap (Rylie decided she didn't need one...HA!), I let the kids get into their party favors. Rylie decided they needed to have some Fun Dip. Yum!

This afternoon we drove to Lakeland, which is halfway between our house and my mom and dad's house. My mom's birthday was last week, and my dad's is this week, so we got together for a little birthday celebration. They were supposed to come over here for the weekend, but my dad still isn't feeling well, so we met at Cracker Barrel instead. My parents wanted to see the kids, and that is a great place to just hang out for a little while.

Bryce had a great time running around and playing Peek-A-Book from behind the rocking chairs...

...while Rylie showed Papa her new dance moves!

We tried for a good 10 minutes to try to get a picture of me and the kids with my dad, and this is the best we could get...

We left Cracker Barrel a little later than we wanted to so we got home well after 8, which is the kids' normal bed time. They both fell asleep in the car, so needless to say, they had no baths tonight and are sleeping in their clothes. I guess we'll be up extra early tomorrow to make time for baths before school. Fun!

So that's that, another weekend come and gone. I can barely keep my eyes open so I need to get to bed. We have a busy week coming up this week with doctor's appointments for me, the kids and the cats. Hopefully all appointments will bring good news (although I'm sure the ENT visit tomorrow will not) and we can have another good week.

Have a great week, my friends!

How sweet that she made cupcakes just for Rylie! She must be a great friend :) I must say, you are looking so slender? You must share your secrets! I'm on day 2 of the South Beach diet (again) the thought of having to try on and buy a new swim suit has caused me to get serious about it!
