Lidia Adel was born in July 2009, and is currently 18 months old. The best way to describe her is this, "She is the most difficult toddler in the state of Iowa to raise, but she sure is the funnest!" It's true. Once you follow along, (and we hope you do!) you will realize that she is stubborn, strong-willed, tantrum-filled, despises sleep, but she will make you laugh, entertain you, and just plain put a smile on your face all day, everyday!
Carly Joelle is my baby and just turned 6 months old! She was born in July 2010. I will say it until I'm blue in the face... She is the sweetest, happiest, most loving baby in the world. She's so easy-going and loves to sit and smile at everyone around her. She's definitely the sleeper in our family too. Makes my job and life a little bit easier!
HOLD UP! Did I say that right? A baby in July 2009 and then one in July 2010??? Yes, folks my kiddos are exactly 1 year and 11 days apart. "You have your work cut out for you!" "You are a busy mom!" Yes and yes, I hear that all the time! 2010 was a crazy year. Between being a first-time mom to an infant, getting pregnant again, getting engaged, buying our first home, giving birth again, then becoming husband and wife, and becoming a step-mom too?? We had our work cut out for us, but it was an amazing year!
Blogging and my new bloggy friends is an outlet for me to vent, share stories, and learn from others. Blogging started out as a way for family and friends to see cutesy pictures of our girls, but then I fell in love with the blog world. There are so many people to learn from, and relate to. It definitely has helped me out in more ways than one. I love meeting new bloggy friends and I hope you find that you loved meeting us too and will follow along!
