Raisels - A Healthy Alternative To Candy {Review & Giveaway}

My kids aren't big eaters at meal time. They usually eat all of their breakfast, but at lunch and dinner, a lot of times they just pick at their food. They would much rather just munch all day. The only problem with constant munching, though, is trying to find healthy snacks that they actually want to eat. We don't have that problem any longer now that we have discovered Raisels!

Raisels are a new, healthier alternative to candy. They are made by the National Raisin Company, which is a family-owned and operated company. Raisels are fruity flavored raisins and the first 100% real fruit snack that actually tastes like candy! They are rich in antioxidants, fat free, cholesterol free and contain 100% of the US RDA for Vitamin C. Raisels have no sodium, high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners.

Raisels come in four fabulous flavors - Sour Apple, Sour Orange, Sour Lemon and Sour Peach. Sour Watermelon is coming soon. Each different flavor has their own character. The boxes are so cute, kids want to dig right in!

So what do Rylie and Bryce think about Raisels? They LOVE them! We received a big box of Raisels with an assortment of the four flavors to review. The kids were immediately attracted to the packaging and couldn't wait to get into them. We tried the Sour Peach first.

The kids were hooked as soon as they popped the first fun-to-eat Raisels in their mouths. I think in Rylie's case, a picture says a thousand words...

And Bryce, well he just couldn't get enough of them. He was taking them one by one out of the box, but before we knew it, he dumped them out and scarfed them down!

After Bryce finished his, he chased his sister down to get some more.

He eventually caught up to her, and to my surprise, she was happy to share some with him. What a sweet big sister!

Not only do the kids like them, Brian and I like them too! We have been eating them when we want a little sweet snack. Yum!

I feel really good about giving my kids Raisels. There is a light dusting of sugar on them to sweeten them just a little bit, but it is nothing compared to the amount of sugar in candy. The number one ingredient in Raisels is real fruit that is packed with vitamins and nutrients. They are fun to eat and good for you too, what more can you ask for in a snack?

Raisels are a take-anywhere snack, which is great for us since we're always on the go. Kids can eat them wherever, since there is no mess. My kids had a little Raisels picnic on the floor...

...and they're also great for in the car!
