You needed a larger Christmas tree. We always get a HUGE Christmas tree and when we take it down, for the following 2-3 weeks, our living room (which is Mason's main play area) just feel HUGE. Despite all baby toys covering every other square inch of the room....
So, a huge Christmas tree is the answer to your problems!
