Welcome to another fun Saturday Playdate! Today we're playing with Ashley from Ashley...plus three. Ashley is another super-sweet blogger I have gotten to know through blogging. She has a beautiful family, including two of the cutest blue-eyed kids I have ever seen! (I'm a little partial to blue-eyed kids...what can I say?) She also has a gorgeous home, with a kitchen that I am seriously jealous of. Ashley is an awesome photographer, and I love seeing pictures of her two little ones!

My name is Ashley and my blog is Ashley...plus 3. I know, it's not fancy but I feel like I lost some of my creative juices after having kids! I'm mom to a 3 and 1/2 year old boy, Nate and a 15 month old girl, Mia. I found motherhood to be delightful and fun until I had my second child. Ha! She was an easy baby and a total delight but suddenly meeting the needs of two little people seemed overwhelming. I'm a stay-at-home mom and felt like I had lost "me" somewhere in my role as mommy. I started blogging to rediscover myself and my interests. I've found that I love cooking, entertaining and have a new passion for photography.
I would never survive motherhood without my friends. I live for our weekly playdates and so do my kids. I've been blessed to have found a group of moms that share all my interests and have kids similar in age to mine. We rotate houses and get together one evening a week to play and have dinner together. The moms get a glass of wine, the kids get a juice box and we all have lots of cookies and yummy food. With a group of 14 kids and 7 moms, it gets a little wild but the kids tend to entertain themselves and we actually get to sit and chat! A real treat for a mom you know.
My favorite part of blogging has been all the new friends I've made. I love seeing pictures from all over the country (and around the world!) but I wish we could get together and meet in person. Maybe share a glass of wine and let our kids run wild? ;) I hope you'll come by my blog and become a new friend! I'd love to hear what you are up to this weekend. I'm actually on a little mini vacation with just my husband, first one in over a year and a half. Extremely exciting stuff!
