Five Question Friday is on hiatus this week, so no enlightening facts about me today. I'm sure you all are so bummed. So instead I'll just give you a quick update on Bryce - he woke up yesterday covered in hives again. We gave him some Benadryl and they went away. I took the Benadryl to school so they could give it to him if needed, and they didn't have to use it. Last night, however, was a different story. He woke up crying so I got him out of bed and sat with him for a while. I noticed the hives coming back as we were sitting there, so I gave him some more Benadryl. I really hate giving him that stuff! I wish those things would just go away for good!
I hope everyone has a great day today, getting ready for their big Christmas celebrations tomorrow. My parents and brother will be here this afternoon, and Brian's mom, step-dad and aunt will be joining us tomorrow. I can't wait for Christmas morning to be here, so I can watch the excitement on the kids' faces when they open their gifts. So fun!
I'll leave you with a picture of my tree. This picture was actually from last year, but it looks exactly the same this year...only with toy shelves behind it.
I really love our tree! Yes, it is fake, but being that I can't stand the smell of pine, a real tree just isn't feasible in our house. And then there is the constant clean up of pine needles, and the whole trying to keep the kids, dogs and cats out of the water too. I don't think real trees do all that well in Florida anyway.
Happy Friday!

Your tree is beautiful! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I love the reindeer so cute. I'm a fake tree person too and pre-lit of course that is a MUST have. I do like the sent of pine and I've tried to find a candle I liked but since I didn't get to Yankee Candle I haven't found one I really like.
I hope Bryce's hives are better :) I am telling you, Christopher had the same thing. Then one day, they just stopped. Hopefully that will happen with Bryce. Your tree looks great. I have to say, for a fake tree, it is a great shape...LOL! The smell of pine would make it that much nicer though..LOL! Hope you guys had a great Christmas and that the kids enjoyed themselves. Can't wait to see pics...
