Saturday we headed out to the mall to get the kids some new clothes. I need some too (like really, really, bad), but I would much rather shop for clothes for the kids since everything looks good on them. Me? Eh, not so much. I had planned to go to Gymboree and GAP since they were both having discounts that day. Gymboree had their Circle of Friends event where everything is 30% off, and GAP was giving 40% off all regular priced merchandise that day only (45% for cardholders, which I am). By the time we finally got out of the house, stopped at Target to get the kids some warm jammies, and stood in the line for Starbucks that was halfway down the mall, we only had time for one store before we had to go pick Rylie up. I opted for GAP. I haven't had much luck at Gymbo lately, and well, 45% off at GAP is amazing! I got the kids a few outfits each and ended up saving $100. Sweet!
Rylie was back home Sunday so not only did she have to adjust to not being spoiled 100% by her grandparents, we had to adjust to having two toddlers in the house again. LOL It was a fun day, but of course nothing got done. Eh, we'll get to that to-do list one of these days, right? And then Sunday night just as I was sitting down on the computer to get some things done, Rylie decided she didn't want to be in her bed. I honestly think she just wasn't tired. (Mom - how late did you let her stay up?!?!) I shut the computer down and laid in my bed with her. Snuggling with my Rylie beats blogging any day of the week! Sorry guys...you know I love you all, though.
It got cold over the weekend! And when I say cold, I mean cold for Floridians. I don't think the high yesterday made it into the 70s. It was definitely a nice change. But we can probably put the jackets away by the end of the week since it will be back up in the 80s.
I have plenty to blog about this week, and not just the randomness about how my weekend was. I have to tell you about why Brian's birthday is now going to suck, and I have a couple cute stories about Bryce. I also have to get around and catch up with all of you at some point too. I hope everyone has a great week!
Oh, and while you're here, I would be so grateful for your vote in the photo contest that Bryce is a finalist in. :-D Please and Thank You!

We had a busy weekend, too... And snuggles beat out just about ANYTHING else!
It was cold up here too...in the 30s at night...but you're so right not up to the 70s is chilly by Florida standards!
Looking forward to catching up on your randomness! Have a good one!
Very nice blog you got. I love your header. :)
You knew that there would be a little adjusting when Rylie got home...LOL! I love that you guys think 60's is cold...so funny :)
I know what you mean! I love shopping for my daughter too, but not so much for myself anymore :( I'm just waiting for that skinny girl to get back with my body so that I can try some clothes on.
I voted for Bryce! I hope that we were allowed to vote more than once, because I did everything you mentioned (except giveaway blogs because I'm not a member). Hope he wins!
