I have a few funnies for you to end the evening with. :-)
Back in April, the daycare put on a "Spring Gala". Last Monday when everyone was at home and I was working (yes, I'm still quite bitter about that LOL) Brian was on the computer and Rylie came up and said she wanted to "see Rylie". So he pulled up some of the videos on YouTube and she ended up watching the Spring Gala video twice. A few minutes later he thought that it was awfully quiet so he went out into the front room to see what she was doing and saw this...

She had lined up all of her chairs and said it was time to watch the show! I guess the horse was performing.
Later on that day she was running around out by the pool and fell. She *barely* scraped up her knees, but you would have thought she broke both of her legs. She ended up needing three band aids, and limped around...all.night.long. I couldn't help but laugh. What a drama queen she is!
Yesterday Uncle Danny and Aunt Laurie came over for a visit. (I haven't seen my sister since my wedding, so it was so nice to see her.) We hung out for a while and then went to Applebee's for dinner. We got a Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae for dessert for all of us to share. Rylie did her best to eat most of it herself. She chowed down! At one point she even had two spoons...

That's what I call "double fisted"!
This morning Rylie got a bag and put some of her shoes in it and said she was going to "Amabama". Next thing I know she came out with her old shopping cart and high chair covers and said she was ready to go.

Now that I'm typing it, that story doesn't sound near as funny as it was when it was going on. I guess it was one of those "you had to be there" moments.
And in other news...
Rylie is no longer in a crib! Now that she isn't wearing diapers at night anymore, we decided we should probably make it so that she could get up and go to the bathroom if she needed to. Brian converted her crib into the toddler bed today. Honestly, it isn't all that different from the crib, but at least she can get in and out of it herself.

Ignore the mismatched bathing suit. The kid goes through 3-4 bathing suit changes a day, and that was the latest combination.
So after her bed was all finished, she decided to put a few of her friends in it.

And then she decided that she needed to play with her brother and her friends in her new bed.

She's in there sleeping right now. She was so tired tonight that I didn't worry about her getting out of her bed and trashing her room. We'll see how nap time next weekend goes.
I have some awesome news about Bryce too! He is actually moving forward now! I wouldn't necessarily call it "crawling", but it is forward motion, nonetheless. :-) I took some videos this evening while we were all up goofing around in Rylie's room and I will post them tomorrow night. He will be 10 months old tomorrow! Crazy!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I promise I have not forgotten about you all and I will be trying so hard to catch up with everyone this week. But for now, I am going to catch up on Hell's Kitchen. All of this blogging has made me get behind on my favorite shows too!
Have a great week everyone!

Oh my that Rylie of yours is something else! I love the show with the horse. Too cute! And what a big girl she is!! Growing up fast huh? Hope you had a great weekend!
They are just so cute! I love the shot of everyone playing in the bed together and they're just looking at you like What? We're having fun!
Sounds like you had a fun weekend, better then sitting on the computer all day.
Ericka is 4 1/2 and I can't get her out of a pull up at night. Let me correct that she will wear underwear but she will also still pee.
Maybe I should do a post and ask for advice.
Aw, Rylie is too much. Thanks for the update on both Rylie and Bryce. Wow, they are growing up fast, huh?
Thanks for linking up at Fancy Meeting You Monday!

The show is so cute! What an imagination she has. Camdyn used to line chairs up and pretend she was on an airplane all of the time. I can't believe Rylie is staying dry all night! Awesome! My 4 1/2 year old still has issues with that, although I am slack on cutting off liquids.
I love that Generation Next crib! We have the same one, in chestnut. That sucker is so deep, kids can never crawl out of it!
Hi,
I discovered your blog from the "Fancy Meeting You Here" Bloghop...they are always so much fun.
Your little ones appear to be about the same age (and sex) as my two grandbabies. My granddaughter even has that same horse in her room. That is as close to a real horse that Papa was going to get her, lol.
Nice to meet you!
Anna
