Well, Bryce learned how to pick his nose last week. Hilarious, right? I couldn't decide if that should go under funnies, or other news, but since my husband gets such a kick out of it, I figured that funny was the way to go.
Last Sunday my brother brought my nieces over for a visit. He was outside pushing Rylie on her swing and she kept saying "Uncle Danny! Kitty Cat!" and pointing to the ground every time the swing would come back. He kept asking her where this cat was because he had no clue what she was talking about. Then he finally realized that she was pointing to her shadow. Yeah, we have a cat named Shadow. So he said "Rylie, do you mean your shadow?" and she said "Oh, yeah I meant my shadow." LOL

I bought Rylie some new bathing suits on Friday. I have decided that two piece bathing suits are the way to go with her since she seems to have to pee a million times while we're swimming. Anyway, when we got home she was trying them on and she said "My teachers are going to say I'm sooooo pretty when they see my new bathing suits!" Awwwww.
And in other news...
Bryce is officially pulling himself up! He did it for the first time at school last week. I sat him down next to the cube shelf thing in the middle of the floor and I was talking to his teacher. I looked back and he was standing up! Yay Bryce!
Hmmm...I need to get up there.

I did it! Now I just have to get centered here.

Check me out!

He gets so proud when he does it himself!
I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that he is just never going to crawl. The kid has figured out that if you put balls in the elephant's ears (in the toy in that picture above) that they will come out of his trunk. But he can't figure out how to get up on his knees and go forward. Go figure. I guess he'll be an engineer rather than an athlete. :-)
Stay tuned in the next day or so for a new look to this blog! I have been working with the very talented Laura Jane and this blog is about to get a lot prettier!
Have a wonderful week!
