McFatty Monday - Week 17

I did it! I am officially back down to my pre-Bryce weight, and then some! 156.0, my friends. Honestly, though, I have no clue how that happened since I really haven’t been eating as well as I should be. Maybe since I have been staying up way too late blogging and not getting much more than 4 hours of sleep a night, my body is having to use my fat stores for energy??? I dunno. But whatever, I’ll take it!

That was my first mini-goal. Now I’m on to the next, which is to get down to 150. Of course by "standards" I should probably weigh less than that (I’m 5’6”, medium build), but that is what I feel is feasible for me, right now. I just can’t don’t want to devote that much time and energy to weight loss at this point in my life. I don’t have the extra time to devote, anyway. Once the kids get a little older and I have a little more time (that WILL happen, right?!?!), then I can reevaluate and really push myself to lose some more weight.

So for now, I’m happy. I’m happy about how well I have been doing with this, and I am motivated to meet my next goal.

Happy Monday all!

Good for you! I bet you look great too. And it's good you're not getting too crazy over this weight loss thing. You have kids and a family now and of course you're concerned about your appearance but trying to be Angela Jolie at this point is useless stress. Just poking my head in to see how the kids are doing and to see what you had up. Everything looks in order, smiles.

Hurray! Congrats, that's a wonderful achievement and you must be so proud of yourself. All that hard work has paid off!

150 is definitely an acceptable goal weight for your height as it equates to a BMI around 24, which is within the healthy range...I am also 5'6 and aiming for that as well. :)

Way to go. Two great post in a row for McFatty Monday that is just awesome.

Glad you are setting small goals. Who knows once you hit 150 you never know what could happen.

Nice to be close to your goal I'm sure. I still have a ways to go but I'm gonna keep on truckin. I feel comfortable now and that is a big difference from 3 months ago.

I'm so excited for you!! Congrats! And I think it's awesome you are gonna keep going. I am about 8 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight, and I just can't get rid of it. I really need to be more diligent about trying!

Go girl!! Congrats to you. It is so hard. I have been there myself. I really set my mind this past year to losing weight. I lost the 45 lbs that I gained with Anhony and then another 20! I stopped eating bad and starting doing cheesy workout DVDs. Set small goals like you are doing, and you will get there in time.

Well look at you - nice work!! That's awesome that you not only met your goal but that you didn't have to do any crazy dieting or working out to get there, your body must just want to be a little lighter. :)

Congrats Lady, keep it up!
