Woo hoo! Guess what I saw on the scale this morning? A 1 and 5 next to each other! I am finally in the 150s! Barely. But whatever, I’m there. Hopefully I will never see the 160s again, but you never know. My weight can easily fluctuate a good three pounds from day to day. And even though I’m still almost three pounds away from my pre-Bryce weight, some of my pre-Bryce clothes are already getting too big on me. Yay!
I’m glad to have some good news to share today. It has been a while. I have been SO close to getting out of the 160s for weeks now, so I’m glad I was finally able to write this post. Especially because I was starting to get a little discouraged.
Dieting is so depressing for me. And it makes it even worse when I don’t see any real results for a while. It is bad enough that I am always going to have to work at maintaining a reasonable weight, but the journey just to get to that reasonable weight is annoying in itself. I hate the fact that I even have to diet. But I do. ::sigh::
On days like today, though, when I can post good news, it doesn’t seem all that bad.
I hope everyone is having a good Monday! We're all sick in my house. Well, Rylie really isn't sick, but she is super tired from our weekend away. The rest of us, however, have sucky summer colds. I'm hoping to get some fun posts up over the next few days. We had a great weekend away (even as exhausting as it was, with a few mom fails in there) and I have some exciting news to share on a milestone that Bryce finally reached! Although if you are a FB friend or follow @thelifeofrylie on Twitter, you already know what that is.
