Today I want to tell you all about a toy that has been a favorite of both of my children. It is the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Fun With Friends Musical Table.
This is a great toy! You can set the table on the floor without the legs for younger babies to play with, and then snap the legs on once your baby can stand. Each corner has a different interactive activity that smiles back at baby and lights up. There is a phone, a piano, a book and even a little laptop.
There are four modes on the table - learning in English, learning in Spanish, music and imagination. The age recommendation on the box is 6-36 months.
We bought this table for Rylie the day she learned how to pull herself up at about 9 months old. We had gone over to a friend's house earlier in the day and Rylie had a blast playing with the activity table that they had. I knew that we had to get her one soon.
She loved playing with that table from the moment we brought it home! I knew if she was playing with it, she would be entertained for a while.
One of the cool things about that table is that it is small enough to take along with you. You can always snap the legs off also. Here is Rylie playing with the table at her grandparents' house...
(Wow that seems like so long ago!)
Bryce has recently been wanting to stand all of the time, so we introduced him to the table a couple weeks ago. He also loves it! Now whenever he sees it he gets so excited and can't wait to stand next to it and play. It is also helping him learn to stand on his own. Here he is one of the first times he played with it...
And here is another picture from last night. (Just because it is cute.)
The only drawback to this table is that it slides. We fix that problem by putting it up against the couch, or holding on to it. It would be nice if it came with some type of rubber feet to help hold it in place better.
The Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn My Busy Day Table can be purchased for $49.99 at Amazon.com.
I highly recommend this table to everyone! Your kids will love it! Oh! And don't be surprised if you start singing the songs all the time like my husband just did when I asked him to take a look at this review.
