I gained about a half of a pound since last Monday. Boo. But honestly, I’m not discouraged.
Wanna know why?
Because I am now wearing ALL of my pre-Bryce clothes! I’m so excited! I put on some short-ish shorts and a tank top this weekend and I didn’t look all that disgusting! And I wore my bathing suit in front of friends and they didn’t shield their eyes or run away screaming! Now I just need to get some color on these pasty white legs of mine.
There is a downside to all of this, though. A couple months ago I got sick of not being able to wear my engagement/wedding rings, so I had them sized up. I honestly didn’t think I would lose weight so quickly and I just really wanted to wear my rings. My rings are palladium, so it was like $200 to get them sized. Not only that, but it was such a hassle too because of the material. Apparently they have to be welded with a special welder that only certain jewelers have. Yeah, so much for trying a new material. Well guess what? They are now getting too big. Ugh. Another 5 pounds and they’ll be falling off. I’m going to wait as long as I can, but I would be devastated if I lost these rings, so they’ll be getting sized (yet, again) soon.
All in all, though, I am really happy about the weight that I have lost. This hasn’t been as hard as I thought it would be. I have a feeling, though, that the next 10 pounds will be a little more difficult. I really wish I had time to exercise, but these days I just don’t. So I am really going to have to stop cheating so much on the weekends, I guess. Sigh.
I would love to hear how everyone else is doing on their weight loss journeys! Have a great week everyone!

Ahh, a half pound...that could just be water :) No biggie!
Congrats on fitting in all of your pre-Bryce clothes, that's wonderful! And even though it's a pain (and an expense) to get those rings re-sized, it's a testament to the hard work paying off! I'd rather they get sized down than up (which is why mine are still in my jewelry box!)
Keep it up! It sounds like you are making progress. Whatever you do don't give up. You will be down to your target weight before you know it. Doesn't feel great to be able to fit into the clothes you wore before you were pregnant?
Thanks for stopping by the Healthy Moms!
Good for you! More money left to spend on the kids' clothes. :) Keep up the good work. You have always accomplished anything you set your mind to do.
Love ya!
1/2 a pound isn't bad. Maybe you neeed to...nevermind. Congrats on getting into pre-preg clothes! Such a great feeling! Keep it up girl!
I'm down 2 lbs, which is the least I've weighed since baby #2. I'm not trying to lose a ton, just want to fit comfortably in to my clothes. Some jewelers have an insert that fits inside of your ring, it has little balls on it that keep the ring from falling off, or sliding around. It's perfect for people like me who have tiny fingers, but big knuckles. You might try that temporarily until you get down where you want to be. You'd hate to have to have them sized down twice!
