*His weight tonight was just over 21 pounds.
*He has two teeth on the bottom.
*He is still *this* close to crawling. He has been getting up on his knees, and he can go backwards, but he still hasn't quite figured out that forward motion. You can tell that he really wants to move because he doesn't really want to be held and is always trying to get out of your arms.
*He loves to stand and is always holding his arms up to get you to put him on his feet. He hasn't pulled himself up yet, but I think that will be coming soon. (Speaking of which...we better lower that crib mattress.)
*He eats 3-4 jars of baby food (stage 2) a day, and has 4 8-oz bottles. He LOVES Puffs
and Yogurt Melts
too! We tried stage 3 food, but he still gags a little on that. (I can't say that I blame him!) He has eaten regular pears at school, and will be trying more solid food soon.*He loves being in the pool! He just floats around in his little frog float and has a great time.
*His hair is getting too long for the Mohawk his teacher used to give him, so I think the "Spike" nickname will be gone soon.
*He is just as happy and sweet as always. He rarely cries.
*He is still a great sleeper! He usually sleeps 11-12 hours at night on the weekends when we don't have to wake him up for school.
His 9 month well-visit (and shots) is Tuesday, so I will post his "official" stats then.
Each month we take a picture of him in a 12-month size onesie...
And here he is trying to get away...
I don't think that onesie will still fit when he is 12 months!

My little guy turned 9 months on the 23rd of last month and I get sooo jealous of babies who sleep through the night! Think Bryce can give Reid a pep talk? My daughter is Super Sleeper so I'm confused as to why I wound up with Nocturnal Baby this time around.
Yay for 9 month stats!!! Babygirl just started pulling herself up to her knees now. She's thisclose to crawling too. As horrible as it sounds, I think we might put her bottle a little out of reach around feeding time to see if she can figure it out a little faster. We'll give her 5-10 min and then give it to her. Is that mean? lol
Have you thought about 1st b-day party ideas/themes for Bryce yet??
Happy 9 month Birthday!! He will be one before you know it!!
Yeah, I don't know if that will fit at 12 months, but a pic with it unbottoned and his little tummy popping out will still be CUTE! What a little ham!
