Weekend Review

When I was pregnant with Rylie, I didn’t really know anyone that well that had a baby. There was no one to tell me that a wipe warmer was a complete waste of money, and that you couldn’t live without the Gerber flannel burp cloths. So Brian pretty much read Baby Bargains (awesome book, BTW) from cover to cover before we set out to register for baby stuff. That book did help us, but it would have been nice to really talk to people about what products they loved.

We all have our favorite products. And when I love a product, I like to recommend it. I always tell my pregnant friends that they can’t live without the Ultimate Crib Sheet, that they’ll sleep much better at night if they have the AngelCare Monitor, and that they must go check out Baby's Dream furniture. I have been asked a few times to look over my friends’ registries and tell them what I think. I really enjoy helping people pick out great products for their new baby! Now that I have a toddler, I also want to know what the best toddler necessities and toys are. There are so many to choose from, and it is so much easier to pick something out when you know that someone else has tried it and loves it.

I was talking with my good friends Tiffany and Andrea about product reviews, and we came up with what we think will be a fun way to tell you about our favorite products and learn about yours. It is called the Weekend Review. Every Friday we will blog about a product we love, and we would love for you to join in and do the same! I’ll post a Linky so everyone can link up and share their favorite products over the weekend. You can post about baby essentials, toys, things that make life easier, etc. You can even post about your favorite blender if it is really that awesome and you want everyone to know about it. All we ask is that you absolutely LOVE the product. Hopefully we can all help each other out and discover some great new products.
