McFatty Monday - Week 8

I did it! I finally hit the 10 pound loss mark! (And then some.) Yay me! I still have a looooooong way to go, but it feels good to hit that milestone. Last week I received the Ghirardelli chocolate that I won and I still lost weight. As much as I would like to scarf down all 100 squares in one sitting, I am just allowing myself to have a piece here and there. And yes, I am sharing it!

I also retired my real-big-girl jeans yesterday and I’m back in my big girl jeans. Unfortunately, the big girl jeans used to be my real-big-girl jeans after my first pregnancy. Have I confused you yet? I’m just really happy to not have to wear those jeans anymore, regardless of what I’m calling them. I am so glad to be able to start fitting into some of my old clothes again!

I even bought a bathing suit over the weekend. I ended up not wearing it, but I honestly planned to…even around people that are MUCH smaller than I am. We were at a BBQ yesterday and I just never really got a chance to get in the pool. Between feeding kids, changing diapers and getting them in and out of their bathing suits, I never had time to get into mine.

My last piece of good news is that people are starting to notice my weight loss. That is a great motivator!

Next weekend I will be on the road and on vacation, so my news after that might not be so great. But I’m not going to worry about it and I’m going to enjoy myself.

Have a great week everyone!

Congratulations! When you notice it in your clothes and when other people notice, those are great motivators! I am hoping to start shedding some of my extra pounds this summer. Oh, and I totally followed you on your big girl jeans thing. I am right there with you!

That's awesome, great work! You'll be a hottie in no time, I have no doubt about it. :)

I love the feeling of fitting into a pair of jeans that haven't been able to zip in a long time... unfortunately, lately for me it's been the other way around but I'm holding out hope! You're inspiring me though!
