I Love Mornings Like This!

Daycare drop off goes pretty smooth most days. Key word there being *most*. Every now and then Rylie goes through a phase where she cries when I try to leave. But just like most of her phases, luckily that never lasts long. On the other hand, there are days when I leave there with a smile from ear to ear. Like yesterday.

We got to school and did our usual routine. Rylie came back to the infant room with me and we got Bryce settled in. Then we went back out to her classroom where the kids were sitting down eating breakfast. Her teacher asked her where she wanted to sit, and of course she said she wanted to sit next to Cole. So she gave me a kiss and sat down. I told her I love her and that I hope she has a good day and then I started to leave. But yesterday as I was getting ready to walk out she said "Mommy, come give me a big hug and a kiss." I bent down and hugged her and she hugged me back just as tight as she could and then kissed my cheek. She said "Have a good day Mommy!" And I did.

I had the best day yesterday! The little stuff like that just makes me over-the-moon happy. My little girl is so sweet. I just love her so much!
