I hope my wonderful mom had a great day too! We loaded up and went to her house for the day. Gifts are easy now that we have the kids – pictures for everyone! :-) The kids’ school pictures came in last week and they turned out so ridiculously cute this year since Rylie smiled. I went and bought a cute “Grandkids” frame and made a great little gift for my mom. She loved it!
We went to dinner at Arigato and while we all found it fun and delicious, Rylie had a slightly different experience. She was sitting right in front of the middle of the cooking area. The chef asked me if she would mind the “big fire” and I said “Nah, she’ll love it!” HA! Wrong again. When he lit that onion tower on fire, I thought she was going to climb up Brian and scale the wall. She got so scared. It actually took a few minutes to calm her down. Poor kid.
But all in all it was a great day. My mom was glad to have both of her kids and her grand kids with her on Mother’s Day. We had fun just hanging out.
I tried to get a picture of all of us (my mom with my brother, the kids and me), but trying to get two little ones to smile at the same time is nearly impossible. So here is what I was able to get…

Happy Mother’s Day, Mom. I love you!
